The individual is expected to be a contributor to R&D projects. This will be accomplished by working on a unique and challenging project each semester, participating in personal development activities and presenting results at the end of the term. The individual will be measured against agreed upon objectives set at the beginning of the term.
* The position will focus on the development of cutting-edge medical technologies
* Design, develop and build prototypes of devices and systems. Test new designs in the lab with good laboratory practices and data collection techniques. Solve complex and unique problems.
* Works with the Scientists and Engineers within R&D and, where needed, Marketing, Quality, Regulatory, and Operations to develop a solid understanding of clinical, business and customer needs.

Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate majoring in Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related major
Must be in excellent academic standing, with a 3.0 preferred; Sophomores and Juniors encouraged to apply
Previous applicable internship, co-op, part-time or apprenticeship experience is preferred but not required. Some knowledge of medical devices/manufacturing standards, methods and processes are a plus.
Possess some knowledge in electro-mechanical systems

Knowledge of CAD SW such as Solidwork, Pro/E, Autodesk, etc.
