This challenging position involves working as part of a highly-specialized team focused on projects for local and federal government facilities including shipping ports, rapid transit, communications infrastructure, sophisticated surveillance, and water/wastewater facilities, as well as privately owned facilities including administration buildings, maintenance and repair facilities, and industrial infrastructure.This is an excellent opportunity for graduate EIT's (engineers in training) to acquire knowledge in power distribution systems, instrumentation and controls, switchgear, stand-by power systems, load and fault current calculations, power flow and short circuit analysis, SCADA and telemetry, lighting systems, and NEC code compliance. Duties & Responsibilities:Responsibilities include working closely with other engineers in the development of electrical construction documents for water/wastewater, technology facilities, rapid transit, port facilities, industrial plants, and electronic surveillance system projects. Duties include development of electrical calculations, engineering studies, computer modeling, construction plans, and technical specifications, in addition to construction supervision and follow-up.Candidate Qualifications:Must have a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (major in Power Systems and Controls preferred)Must have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) ExamExperience using EasyPower or ETAP electrical modeling software a plusSolid verbal communication skillsAbility to multi-task and willingness to take on new challengesWe are committed to fostering a workforce in each of our locations that reflects the diversity of the communities in which we operate.
